The region of Matarrana
Matarrana is a conmarca in the north east of Spain. Made up of 18 medieval villages all steeped in history with incredible architecture and abundant wildlife in the immediate surroundings. The capital of the conmarca is the pretty village of Valderrobres and is a 10 minute drive from our finca.The surrounding landscape offers breathtaking views of mountains, olive and almond groves and vineyards. The region is famous for olive oil, wine, ham and truffles.
There are multiple spots for walking or swimming in the crystal clear waters of mountain rivers.
